A trusted professional in ear irrigation and wax removal
My nursing journey began on a busy surgical ward, where I developed my expertise in patient care. I then spent nearly 20 years as a community nurse, followed by a rewarding role as a treatment room nurse in my local GP surgery. These varied experiences have allowed me to specialise in treating patients with a range of health concerns, including those struggling with hearing loss caused by ear wax build-up.
Ear irrigation has been a regular part of my work, and I’ve helped countless patients improve their hearing and alleviate discomfort caused by excess wax. Many of my patients have been referred by audiology services for ear wax removal before undergoing hearing assessments or having their hearing aids reviewed.
My Mission
At Weardale Ear Care, my mission is to provide an essential and accessible ear care service for individuals who are struggling to access ear wax removal and other ear health treatments. I am dedicated to delivering a safe, professional, and high-quality standard of care in a friendly, caring, and compassionate environment, ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of my clients at all times.
I offer clinic appointments and home visits for housebound clients within a 15-mile radius of my clinic in Blackhill, Consett. The clinic is easily accessible with ground floor access and free parking conveniently located directly opposite the building. For those requiring home visits, I provide this service for a small additional fee of £5, ensuring everyone has access to the ear care they need.
